Postponements and cancellations due to Coronavirus concerns

The Kentucky Derby will be postponed until Sept. 5.
The 5th annual Bockfest has been postponed until May 23, per the NuLu Business Association.
The annual St. Patrick’s Day parade in the Highlands, set for March 14, has been postponed until further notice.
Louisville Orchestra performances scheduled through April 25 have been canceled.
JCPS schools and Catholic schools in Louisville will close through April 3. Classes will resume April 6. The announcement was made Thursday.
Kentucky Derby Festival events are postponed through April 5, according to a KDF announcement. This includes the marathon events.
Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer announced on Thursday that all Metro Louisville events are canceled until April 5.
Louisville City FC’s soccer season is suspended for a minimum of 30 days, leaving the opening of the new Lynn Family stadium uncertain.
Tours of Woodford Reserve Distillery, Old Forester Distillery, Jack Daniel Distillery will be temporarily suspended, according to a news release. Heaven Hill Distillery also will suspend tours and retail sales indefinitely. Tours at Castle and Key Distillery also are suspended until April 1.
The NCAA canceled the 2020 Division I men's and women's basketball tournaments, as well as all other winter season championship events.
The University of Louisville extended spring break until March 17, after which classes will be administered online.
Bellarmine University also has suspended in-person classes.
The Special Olympics Kentucky state basketball tournament and team skills competition have been cancelled.
The KHSAA Girls' and Boys' state basketball tournaments have been suspended indefinitely.
The Indiana University Southeast Ogle Center has canceled all events through April 6 and will issue refunds for tickets.
Louisville Free Public Library announced that all library will be closed until April 5. Overdue fees are temporarily suspended and the library asks that people don’t return materials until after branches reopen.
Louisville Ballet announced it has canceled its fundraising event for this weekend as well as its April 3-4 performances.
The annual St. Patrick’s Day tent party at Irish Rover has been canceled.
The Spring Into Derby event scheduled for March 21 by Stoneware & Co., Woodford Reserve and Paristown has been postponed until further notice.
Shows at Mercury Ballroom and Louisville Palace have been postponed or canceled through April 10.
